All fabrics have different colorfastness ratings. Some fabrics fade faster than others.

What size should I order for a puffy cushion with insert?
The advice for a puffy cushion with insert:
- Add 3 cm to the width (at the desired height)
- We recommend that the cushions protrude 5 to 10 cm above the bench
- The thickness you order is the thickness of the insert (the cushion is thicker in the middle)
For a chair with a width of 70 cm, order a cushion that is 73 cm wide. For a 140 cm bench, divided over 2 back cushions, order 2 cushions that are 72/73 cm wide.

If you want the cushions to fit tighter in the bench, you can add extra centimeters. This is only possible for puffy cushions, not for tight cushions.

Example of calculation:
We advise leaving the cushion protrude at least 5 to 10 cm above the backrest. If you want the cushion to protrude about 5 cm above the backrest, then order an extra 7.5 to 10 cm. In this case, the size of your cushion will be: 70 x 44.5 cm. So you would order 73 cm x 49.5 to 52 cm.
Is there a maximum size for my plof cushion with an insert?
We advise a maximum length of 120 cm (a plof cushion looks best between 60 to 90 cm). The larger your plof cushion, the more variation in sizing.
Disadvantages of a cushion that is too large with an insert:
- It will sag more in the middle
- It will become thicker (like a sausage)
- Sizing will deviate from the ordered size with a large margin of 1:100 cm
What will be the thickness of my plof cushion with an insert?

Flock cushions with an insert are more consistent in size. They are rectangular in shape and the indicated thickness is the thickness of the insert. So the band around the cushion is the thickness you have specified in your order.

The cushion is filled with loose filling, which can make the middle thicker (about 20 to 25 cm). This depends on the size you order. Please note: the larger your cushion, the more it may deviate from the size you have specified.
When should I avoid using a plof cushion?

The use of a plof cushion is very personal. We recommend avoiding flock cushions if the seat depth is 55 cm or more. The seat depth will be reduced, causing you to slide or sink into the couch/chair. Keep the thickness of the insert minimal (8 cm) to avoid the cushion becoming too thick.
Is it possible to have a plof cushion with an insert in a striped or design pattern?

Flock cushions with stripes or a design pattern are definitely possible and can be a surprising option. However, please note that the insert that runs around the cushion is usually made of the same fabric as the cushion.

Sometimes it may be more aesthetically pleasing to have the insert in the solid color of the seating or one of the colors from the design pattern. If you want the insert in a different color, please contact our customer service.
Can I only order a cover for my plof cushion with an insert?
Is the cover on your current cushion still in good condition? Then you can measure the dimensions of the cover. Here's how:
1. Remove the cover from the cushion
2. Turn the cover inside out
3. Measure from seam to seam (not from fabric to fabric): the width/length, height, and thickness of the insert.
