All weather cushions are the solution if you leave cushions outside in all weather conditions without a covering, and only bring them inside during winter. Depending on the exact situation and type of use, we can advise a different combination of fabric and filling.
All weather cushions are usually not waterproof, but water-permeable instead. The fabric is always treated with a dirt- and water-repellent layer, allowing you to leave them outside and easily clean them. In addition, the fabrics are tested for color fastness to ensure that the all weather cushions do not easily fade in the sun.

Water-permeable fabric and filling does not remain wet, and the fabric also does not become wet. This means that it can also dry directly. If water remains on the couch/chair and cannot escape, the cushion will remain wet.
Filling: quick dry. Water-permeable, so it doesn't stay wet.

The filling does not stay wet, and the fabric only absorbs moisture after approximately 6 hours.
Filling: The quick-dry filling is water-permeable and therefore does not stay wet.
Fabric: A fabric treated with a dirt- and water-repellent coating.A fabric suitable for intensive use is the Sunbrella fabric (such as Solids & Stripes, Natte, etc.). This fabric feels soft, is easy to clean, and offers color guarantee. Additionally, there are several other outdoor fabrics (water-repellent), but these feel different, such as the Sunproof fabrics and Amai. Optionally, the underside of the cover can be fitted with a mesh insert to allow moisture to drain more quickly. However, this is not standard.
A waterproof fabric ensures that moisture cannot penetrate the cushion. Of course, it is important that the spot where the cushion lies can also drain water. If water remains on the sofa/chair and cannot escape, the cushion will remain wet.
Filling: HR filling is a breathable filling and would be sufficient, quick-dry is not necessary for this.
Fabric: fabric with a coating on the inside that makes the fabric waterproof. Therefore, the fabric does not absorb any water (except on the stitching seams).
Of course, it is also important that the surface on which the cushion lies can drain water. If water remains on the sofa/chair and cannot drain, the cushion will stay wet.
